Star Child & Azure Moon

under the crested sky
a memory lane
covered in millions
of honeydew stars

star child
chase the careless wind
follow fireflies and blue fairies
nothing to bear on your shoulders

softly under this lazy night
let these words gently lifts you

soon you'll glide through the clouds
dine with the sleeping sun
dream with feathered wings

wonder no more
wherever you lay
soft pillows catches your fall

for the azure moon
watches over you

the azure moon
twinkles just for you

I can see someone reading this to a small child at bedtime. It's full of wonderment. Have a great day.

I love the fantasy elements in this poem as they create images of adventure and softness all at once.

I enjoyed reading this.
