Postcard Dreams

I compose these words

faltering from the tip

of this ballpoint pen

spellbound scribbles

on four by six postcards

stamped to arrive on

the doorsteps of strange lovers

of unrehearsed verse

I just sign up for August Poetry Postcard Fest. You write your poems on real postcards and send them out. I will be doing this for the whole month of August and might even post some of them here. Who knows maybe they'll come out better on paper than on the web. Anyone interested, go here to sign up.
