Black

stung by the splendor of sudden black
cognizance rush through my veins
a million locked spaces of night splits open
heartache has enter
in darkness I hunt for luminous flux

Lissa, this is an excellent response for the Tuesday Title. I absolutely love the third and final lines of your poem. I think everyone visits a black place sometime in their life but, I like to think its their personal strength that carries them back out safely that matters most. Then they can reflect on what they've learned. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice day.

I love the line, "million locked spaces of night splits open". I will reflect on this line for the rest of the afternoon.
