I never thought
of you
as being there
in the corner of my life
existing
so close to me
time slowly digested my days
but I never thought
not in the split seconds of solitude
not in the hours of hopeless insomnia
did I once thought of you
being there
now you're gone
I never thought
I would miss someone
who was never in my thoughts
until the last hours of my life
will I ever thought of
never thinking
of you

Luv this...beautiful :)!
This is a beautiful piece lissa. Absolutely beautiful!
I really like the 2nd stanza a lot as it resonates something in me. :)
Also, thank you so much for the link to Wordle! I love text scrambling sites like this! :)
Hello Lissa~ I can't believe how much our poems resemble each other when I didn't even read your poem until now. Yours is really good too. I had my first sweetheart in mind while writing from your skeleton. My heart ached as I wrote it but, I felt it was a nice tribute to our parting ways. Thank you so much for the use of your poem I enjoyed this exercise as well. I will post my poem as a Poefusion Saturday so everyone can use that as an inspiration for their poems. Have a nice day.
Almost forgot! Love your Wordle graphic.
