Eternal Rain

april drunk in eternal rain
drenched us in chaos and gray
the wind possesses us in its cold wings
keeping us wandering the streets
looking for bits of blue sky

Everyone else has pretty much said it...so all I can do is say that I emphatically share their sentiments

This was great - glad I found you at cafe writing! This poem is literally something I just experienced on my recent trip to Europe. I endured so much harsh, cold, windy, wet air I returned with a 103 fever and had to go to the emergency room!!! Excellent poetry!

Becca said the same thing I was going to say! Shivering in deed! :)
