Spring

leaves

all my memories have left
on a long virgin journey
chasing after spring's dalliance

Wow - that seems to be written in the voice of an older narrator chasing youth. I love it.

I second Julia's comment, I really liked this one.

Your poem is very intricate: I have read it several times and am thinking so many things. I hope to be able to write like this someday. I love how you used your photo: it hints at infinity.

Such a beautiful photo to write beautiful thoughts about spring.

Ah yes, spring is certainly about reproduction and dallying. Love this piece.

Simply beautiful!

But on reading the poem again, I saw another translation. Chasing after "virgin"? After spring's dalliance? Lost virginity without consent or perhaps having second thoughts?

Methinks I think too much at times. But do love poems with layers of meaning. Just like this one!

" ...spring's dalliance"--that's a perfect line. Nicely done and a pleasure to read over and over!
